Join us in welcoming Emily Cataneo\, write r\, journalist\, and the co-founder of the \;Redbud Writing Projec t\, \;a creative writing educational organization for adults that is based in Raleigh\, North Carolina. \; As a journalist\, Emily has written about a variety of topics for venues such as the Boston Globe\, th e Financial Times\, Slate\, NPR\, and more. \; In 2017\, she traveled to the island of Jeju in South Korea\, where she interviewed one of the ha enyeo (a woman diver of Korea) and learned about their intriguing\, ancien t culture. \; She wrote about this experience for the travel website&n bsp\;Roads &\; Kingdoms \;later that year. \; Emily wi ll be joining us live to talk about these "real sea women".
