 bout 10% of the research material she reads for a given project. About 10%
  of the information in those notes appears&nbsp\;in the final book. In thi
 s session\, she&rsquo\;ll reveal the hidden 90%\, beginning with an introd
 uction to primary and secondary sources. Next\, she&rsquo\;ll discuss&nbsp
 \;strategies for vetting our research into emotionally-loaded topics &mdas
 h\; like climate change and vaccination &mdash\; in the age of Google and 
 &ldquo\;fake&nbsp\;news.&rdquo\; The second half of this program will give
  participants a chance to ask questions about any aspect of research or cr
 eative writing\,&nbsp\;receiving expert advice for approaching challenges 
 they&rsquo\;ve experienced in their own work.</p>\n<p>This interactive onl
 ine program will be held on Zoom. Registration will close four hours prior
  to the event.&nbsp\; Registrants will be sent the link at least one hour 
 prior to the start time. It is recommended that participants download Zoom
