 r social connection for kids through fun learning activities.&nbsp\; Using
  virtual video chat\, kids are introduced to new concepts and ideas in fun
  and engaging ways.&nbsp\; Topics range from a variety of educational disc
 iplines such as science and technology\, arts\, social studies and more.</
 p>\n<p>This week we will be exploring the social studies topic from the On
 tario curriculum by exploring and discussing the Google Arts &amp\; Cultur
 e digital resource. For this activity the following supplies are required:
  access to the Google Arts &amp\; Culture website.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>This pro
 gram is geared towards children aged 8-12.</p>\n<p><strong>The program wil
 l be conducted over the Zoom video platform.&nbsp\;For safety and attendan
 ce purposes\, please register for the program using your child's first nam
 e.</strong> For instructions on how to use Zoom\, please watch this <a hre
 f="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIkCmbvAHQQ&amp\;feature=youtu.be">vide
 o</a>. <strong>Library staff will email the Zoom link to all participants 
 two (2) hours before the program begins.</strong>&nbsp\;You do not have to
  have a Zoom account to attend this program. However\, if you do not have 
 the software you will be prompted to download it when you click on the lin
 k provided. There is no charge for the &nbsp\;download but it does take a 
 few minutes to complete so please allow time before the start of the progr
 am to do so.</p>\n<p><strong>During the program please make sure there is 
 an adult nearby to supervise your child and to ensure the best possible us
 e of internet resources\, provide technical assistance and to maintain beh
 aviour.&nbsp\;</strong>The Library cannot and does not act in place of\, o

 cing restrictions which a parent or guardian may place upon a minor's use
