Local Artist Monet Brady will guide partic
ipants in creating a new painting each week. During this time\, we will ha
ve a Q&\;A with her to talk about her experience in the art world and h
ow her race may have affected it.

Each session is a new painting - you do not need to attend all four sessions!
\nAbout the artist: Monet Bra dy has a Fine Arts background with a degree in history and art history. Wi th over 450 painting events under her belt\, she has plenty of experience with making sure people have a good time while creating art. Monet loves s haring her skills with those around her. She incorporates her technical kn ow-how with the mastery of letting go and creating. \nFor each class\, particip ants who want to paint will need a 16x20 canvas and red\, yellow\, blue\, white\, and black acrylic paint. A large square brush\, medium round brush \, and small detail brush are recommended for use. Supplies are not requir ed\; you are welcome to just watch the sessions\, but if you'd like to par ticipate\, you'll want at least the basic supplies.
