 ster social connection for kids through fun learning activities.&nbsp\; Us
 ing virtual video chat\, kids are introduced to new concepts and ideas in 
 fun and engaging ways.&nbsp\; Topics range from a variety of educational d
 isciplines such as science and technology\, arts\, social studies and more
 .</p>\n<p>This week we will be exploring math in the Ontario School Curric
 ulum by developing\, creating\, and discussing patterns.&nbsp\; For this a
 ctivity\, the following material (s) will be needed: string or shoelace\, 
 beads\, and straws.</p>\n<p>This program is geared towards children aged 4
 -7Y.</p>\n<p><strong>The program will be conducted over the Zoom video pla
 tform.&nbsp\;For safety and attendance purposes\, please register for the 
 program using your child's first name.</strong> For instructions on how to
  use Zoom\, please watch this <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIk
 CmbvAHQQ&amp\;feature=youtu.be">video</a>. L<strong>ibrary staff will emai
 l the Zoom link to all participants two (2) hours before the program begin
 s.&nbsp\;</strong>You do not have to have a Zoom account to attend this pr
 ogram. However\, if you do not have the software you will be prompted to d
 ownload it when you click on the link provided. There is no charge for the
  download but it does take a few minutes to complete so please allow time 
 before the start of the program to do so.</p>\n<p><strong>During the progr
 am please make sure there is an adult nearby to supervise your child and t
 o ensure the best possible use of internet resources\, provide technical a
 ssistance and to maintain behaviour.&nbsp\;</strong>The Library cannot and
