It takes hard work to be a good citizen in a democratic republic. Part of that work includes consuming a balanced di et of political news from a variety of trusted sources while avoiding envi ronments like echo chambers and filter bubbles\, in which a person only en counters beliefs or opinions that coincide with their own. Another part of that work is discussing political news in a way that promotes communicati on and understanding rather than causing conflict and polarization.
