 eit\, Ph.D. who is Professor of Anthropology and Chair of the Department o
 f History and Anthropology at Monmouth University. He is a North American 
 historical archaeologist\, whose research focuses on the Middle Atlantic R
 egion between the late 17th and early 19th centuries. Also\, Veit directs 
 Monmouth University&rsquo\;s annual archaeological field school and has au
