 dlined: A Memoir of Race\, Change\, and Fractured Community in 1960s Chica
 go</em>. She connects the dots between today&rsquo\;s racial profiling and
  inequities to the government policy of redlining. Most recently\, we&rsqu
 o\;ve seen Black Americans die at double the rates of whites from Covid-19
 \, and George Floyd&rsquo\;s murder aroused world-wide protests against sy
 stemic racism\, like redlining.</p>\n<p>During this virtual presentation a
 nd discussion\, Linda will speak\, read short excerpts from&nbsp\;<em>Redl
 ined</em>\, and talk about the federal government&rsquo\;s redlining polic
 ies that separated America into Black and White. She&rsquo\;ll also share 
 digitized versions of original 1940s redlining maps. There will be time fo
 r Q&amp\;A.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Six-time Emmy-honored Linda Gartz is a document
 ary producer &amp\; author of the&nbsp\;award-winning book\,&nbsp\;<em>Red
 lined</em>. Her TV work has aired on all the major networks and&nbsp\;Inve
 stigation Discovery.&nbsp\;She produced videos hosted by Oprah Winfrey and
  Maya Angelou.&nbsp\;Gartz has been published in local and national magazi
 nes and newspapers\, including The&nbsp\;Chicago Tribune. She earned her B
 A and MAT from Northwestern University&nbsp\;and studied at the University
