Guy Gruters\, a Vietnam War POW for more t han five years\, was one of the 591 surviving POWs of all military service s released in 1973 during Operation Homecoming. \;He will talk about h ow he survived those years while bringing a message of leadership\, teamwo rk\, resilience\, and forgiveness. Gruters graduated from the Air Force Ac ademy\, received his Masters Degree from Purdue and went to Vietnam in 196 6 after receiving his flight wings. For his service\, Gruters received two silver stars\, two distinguished flying crosses\, one bronze star for val or\, two purple hearts\, and over 20 air medals.
