  Hands. The aim of the Happy Hands program is to empower communication by 
 teaching a broad base of ASL vocabulary that can be used immediately. Chil
 dren -- including babies as young as 6 months old -- have the capacity to 
 understand\, learn\, and communicate before they develop the ability to sp
