 award is named for Abraham Lincoln\, one of Illinois' most famous resident
 s and himself an avid reader and noted author. The Association of Illinois
  School Library Educators (AISLE) sponsors the award. The Lincoln Award is
  designed to encourage teens to read for personal satisfaction and become 
 familiar with authors of young adult and adult books.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>All&n
 bsp\;high school&nbsp\;students that read at least&nbsp\;four&nbsp\;of the
 &nbsp\;nominees&nbsp\;and register by&nbsp\;January 15&nbsp\;are welcome t
 o vote online for their favorite&nbsp\;February 15th&ndash\; March 15th.&n
