 th anniversary.&nbsp\; The free walking tour will run from 10am - 1pm.</p>
 \n<p>Commemorative tour booklets provided by the Roxbury Township Historic
 al Society and penned by its president\, Marge Cushing\, will be given out
  at the library gazebo at 103 Main Street.</p>\n<p>Participants are asked 
 to wear face masks and social distance.&nbsp\; The tour will begin and end
  at Roxbury Public Library&rsquo\;s gazebo\, and features stops and brief 
 histories of the trolley stops\, businesses\, homes\, and residents along 
 Main Street.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>&ldquo\;Wherever we live in the townshi
 p&rsquo\;s six &lsquo\;villages\,&rsquo\; this walk along Succasunna&rsquo
 \;s Main Street\,&nbsp\;Roxbury Township&rsquo\;s 280th Anniversary celebr
 ation\, is for every one of us\,&rdquo\; said Marge Cushing\, who research
 ed and wrote the tour booklet\, bringing the soul of 18th century Main Str
 eet alive. &ldquo\;After the tour\, Main Street will no longer be a street
  where we sit in traffic during our daily commute\, but a dirt road transp
 orting us to the 1700&rsquo\;s\, as we become familiar with the people who
  founded our township\, see the places they lived and worked in\, and lear
 n about our township&rsquo\;s &nbsp\;contributions to &nbsp\;the early dev
 elopment of our country\, food for thought as we wait for the light to cha
