Artist Diyah Najah will lead us through th e abstract collage making process with a West African arts and culture the me. Using various papers\, and basic art supplies we will play with shape\ , color\, proportion and composition. We will learn about these West Afric an symbols and cultures while selecting symbols that speak to us as indivi duals. The collages can be as large or as small as we like. I will guide t he workshop participants in creating quality art worthy to be framed and p assed down through the generations.
