  winter for a series of workshops to support newcomers who are seeking or 
 entering the Canadian workforce. &nbsp\;The content of these workshops is 
 focused on topics of special interest to newcomers to Canada however every
 one is welcome to attend.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>The world of work is rapidly ch
 anging.&nbsp\;To compete successfully for jobs and promotions\, many peopl
 e look to education and training to increase their knowledge and skill set
 s. Before spending time and money on education or training\, it is importa
 nt to know what qualifications are most in demand by employers\, and what 
 options exist outside of traditional post-secondary institutions. Particip
 ants will learn about free or low-cost training options to upgrade skills 
 and knowledge. Information on government-funded programs to help newcomers
  with credential evaluations and training loans will also be presented.&nb
 sp\;</p>\n<p>&nbsp\;Registration required. The Library will be offering th
 is tutorial using Zoom.</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Please register in advance and incl
 ude your email address in order to attend.</li>\n<li>The Library will shar
 e an invitation to the Zoom meeting via email 24 hours in advance of the s
 ession.</li>\n<li>Please contact the Library if you have not received an e
 mail.â€‹ &nbsp\;We may be unable to email invitations to the Zoom mee
 ting if you register less than 60 minutes before the start of the program.
