Akron-Summit County Public Library was nam ed a Patent &\; Trademark Resource Center (PTRC) in 1995. PTR Cs are a nationwide network of public\, academic and special libraries spr ead throughout the United States. We offer access to resources from the Un ited States Patent &\; Trademark Office (USPTO) in a variety of formats \, including instructional classes\, books\, databases and handouts.

In this class\, our USPTO-trained librarians will help you learn how to protect your creative work through trademarks. You will learn the basics of trademarks\, what they are\, how to get one\, and cost involved.
