 at-large at the Columbus Museum of Art and enjoyed a close relationship wi
 th Aminah Robinson beginning in the late 1980s. Since Robinson&rsquo\;s de
 ath in 2015\, she has supervised the organization and documentation of the
  artist&rsquo\;s estate\, which was left to the Museum. She has curated an
 d co-curated many exhibitions about Robinson&rsquo\;s life and work\, incl
 uding <em>Symphonic Poem</em>\, a retrospective of the artist&rsquo\;s wor
 k that travelled nationally in 2006. In 2018\, she organized <em>Kindred S
 pirits</em>\, an exhibition about the relationship between Robinson and he
 r friend and mentor\, folk artist Elijah Pierce. In addition to contributi
 ng articles about Robinson to many publications\, Genshaft has written <em
 >Aminah&rsquo\;s World</em>\, a children&rsquo\;s book about Robinson&rsqu
 o\;s life and art.</p>\n<p>A native of the Near East Side of Columbus\,&nb
 sp\;<strong>Deidre Hamlar</strong>&nbsp\;is a lawyer\, arts administrator\
 , artists' representative\, arts business consultant and independent curat
 or. Following a deep passion for the power of arts to communicate across c
 ultures\, she founded Peaceworks Gallery in Columbus in 1990\, became a mu
 lticultural educator with The Columbus Museum of Art and Walker Art Center
 \, was community engagement facilitator for the development of the Poindex
 ter Museum and Cultural Center\, co-curator of the 2016 Columbus Historica
 l Society exhibition\, Poindexter Village: A Portrait in Stories\, and co-
 authored Roads&nbsp\;Diverge: William L. Hawkins and Elijah Pierce in Colu
 mbus in William Hawkins: an Imaginative Geography (Skira 2018). Since 2018
 \, Hamlar has worked with the Columbus Museum of Art to archive and curate
  Robinson's art and writing in preparation for the current catalogue\, exh
