 ong>Laura Maylene Walter</strong>&nbsp\;has written for&nbsp\;<em>Poets &a
 mp\; Writers</em>\,&nbsp\;<em>Kenyon Review</em>\,&nbsp\;<em>The Sun</em>\
 ,&nbsp\;<em>Ninth Letter</em>\,&nbsp\;<em>The Masters Review</em>\, and ma
 ny others. She has been a Tin House Scholar\, a recipient of the Ohioana L
 ibrary Association&rsquo\;s Walter Rumsey Marvin Grant\, and a writer in r
 esidence at Yaddo\, the Chautauqua Institution\, and Art Omi: Writers. Lau
 ra is currently a writer/editor for the Cleveland Public Library\, serves 
 as editor in chief of&nbsp\;<em>Gordon Square Review</em>\, and blogs for 
 the&nbsp\;<em>Kenyon Review</em>.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><em><strong>Body of Stars
 </strong></em>&nbsp\;is Laura's debut novel. Celeste Morton has eagerly aw
 aited her passage to adulthood\, when the freckles\, moles\, and birthmark
 s on her body will be interpreted to solidify her fate and foretell the fu
 ture of those around her. The possibilities are tantalizing enough to outw
