X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<p>In&nbsp\;<em>Fourteenth Colony</em>\, Bunn
discusses history of the forgotten fourteenth colony that stretched from
the majority of what are now the states of Florida\, Alabama\, Mississippi
\, and Louisiana. Bunn will have a conversation with noted historian Gene
 Ramsey. Ramsey co-authored <em>I</em><em>mages of America: Norcross</em>\,
and has written for professional and history journals.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\
n<p>West Florida did not rebel against the British Government so the colon
y has long been dismissed as a loyal but inconsequential fringe outpost.&n
 bsp\;</p>\n<p>Professor Samuel C. Hyde\, Jr. says\, &ldquo\;At last we hav
e an easy-to-read book that corrects the long-embraced notion of thirteen
American colonies rising in revolution against Britain. Mike Bunn&rsquo\;s
  impressively researched and well-written&nbsp\;<em>Fourteenth Colony&nbsp
\;</em>will open many eyes to a startling historical omission just as it w
ill force reconsideration of how we teach\, and interpret\, the American R
evolution.&rdquo\;</p>\n<p><strong>REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO ACCESS THIS
