Dr. Martin Luther King\, Jr. and Rabbi Abraham Joshua Heschel were two of the most committed and outspoken human rights and civil rights activists of their day. \; This presenta tion will focus on 1963\, the year in which they met\, and the significanc e of their leadership in the larger history of the Modern Civil Rights Mov ement. \;
