Revising a poem can be as engaging as writ ing one. We all have some stubborn poems that haven&rsquo\;t jelled or tha t seem close but for some reason just don&rsquo\;t hit the mark. Together we&rsquo\;ll try out ideas to see our poems with fresh eyes and have fun i n the process.

\nMar ion Starling Boyer is a poet and essayist with four published poe try collections: The Sea Was Never Far (Main Street Rag) and \;The Clock of the \;Long Now (Mayapple Press) and two chapbo oks\, Green (Finishing Line Press) and Composing the Rain \;(Grayson Books). \;
\nBoyer&rsquo\;s work has been nomin ated for a Pushcart\, the Lenore Marshall Award\, and the &ldquo\;Best of the Net.&rdquo\; Her essays have been published by Great Lakes Review< /em>\, Paddler Magazine\, The Tishman Review\, Canoe \;and Kayak and others. She is a professor emeritus of Kalamazoo Valley Community College and has recently moved from Michigan to the Clev eland area. Boyer has conducted poetry workshops for the Kalamazoo Poetry Festival\, the Wisconsin&rsquo\;s Washington Island Writers Festival\, Lit Cleveland\, and Lit Youngstown&rsquo\;s Winter Writing Camp.
