 inal pieces in a varied mix\, chosen from <b>music</b>\, <b>dance</b>\, <b
 >film</b>\, <b>theater</b>\, <b>performance art</b><strong>\, writing\,</s
 trong> and the like &mdash\; each 12 minutes or less with a short Q&amp\;A
  after each piece. The whole event is short and sweet\, taking about an ho
 ur.</p>\n<p>The City Library will present a live stream 12 Minutes Max on 
 Sunday\, January 17\, at 2pm. Please join us using this <a href="https://v
 imeo.com/497433506">link</a>. The program is archived on Vimeo after the b
 roadcast and can be viewed later as well.</p>\n<p>Choreographer and direct
 or <strong>Roxanne Gray</strong> will present her dance film <em>PAIR</em>
 \, an exploration of the courtship rituals of animals\, and the art of fin
 ding a mate in the Animal Kingdom. Roxanne is a dance artist who recently 
 moved from Oakland to Salt Lake City. This project is a collaboration betw
 een the dancers of Wasatch Contemporary Dance Company\, and with Bentley R
 awle\, Jasmine Stack\, Jacob Watson\, and Trevor Free. The score was creat
 ed by Ben Swisher\, Alyssa Pyper\, and Luke Williams.</p>\n<p><br /><stron
 g>Logan Hone's Community Band</strong> will present a video of community-s
 ourced musicians responding to prompts for melodic improvisation.&nbsp\; I
 n early January\, Logan sent out a widespread invitation to participate in
  the project\, and will edit the submissions. Logan is a Los Angeles based
  musician who lived in Utah from 2005&ndash\;2013. He directs Community Ba
 nd\, which was a weekly jam class before the pandemic\, and has now transf
 ormed into online music classes and projects\, all free and open to the pu
 blic.</p>\n<p><br /><strong>Steve Creson</strong> will screen his film <em
 >Crazy Mad Dash</em>\, a found footage piece made in the late 90's\, when 
 he began collecting and collaging 16mm films. Newly transferred to digital
 \, it is a narrative that concentrates on hand movements and a quickening 
 of cuts. Steve is a multimedia visual artist\, writer\, photographer\, 16m
 m filmmaker and occasional performance artist. He studied poetry at Naropa
  Institute in Boulder\, and has shown work and performed in both the Unite
 d States and Europe. His new book of poems\, <em>Big Day/ New and Selected
  Poems</em>\, just published by Elik Press\, is available at Weller Book W
 orks and Ken Sanders Rare Books.</p>\n<p><i>This program is modeled after 
 <a href="http://www.ontheboards.org/12-minutes-max-0" target="_blank" rel=
 "noopener">12 Minutes Max</a>\, a performance laboratory originated by <a 
 href="http://www.ontheboards.org" target="_blank" rel="noopener">On the Bo
