 /p>\n<p><strong>Jason Reynolds</strong>&nbsp\;is an American author who wr
 ites novels and poetry for young adult and middle-grade audiences\, includ
 ing&nbsp\;<strong><em>Ghost</em>\,</strong> a National Book Award Finalist
  for Young People's Literature.&nbsp\; Born in Washington\, D.C. and raise
 d in neighboring Oxon Hill\, Maryland\, Reynolds found inspiration in rap 
 to begin writing poetry at nine years old.&nbsp\;His many books include&nb
 sp\;<em><strong>When I Was the Greatest</strong></em>\,<strong></strong><e
 m><strong>&nbsp\;The Boy in the Black Suit</strong></em>\,<em><strong>&nbs
 p\;All American Boys&nbsp\;(cowritten with Brendan Kiely)\,&nbsp\;As Brave
  as You</strong></em>\,<em><strong>&nbsp\;For Every One\, the Track series
  (Ghost\,&nbsp\;Patina\,&nbsp\;Sunny\, and&nbsp\;Lu)</strong></em>\,&nbsp\
 ;<em><strong>Look Both Ways</strong></em>\, and&nbsp\;<em><strong>Long Way
  Down</strong></em>.&nbsp\; He was recently named the Young People's Ambas
 sador for Literature by the Library of Congress and is currently hosting t
 he&nbsp\;"Read. Write. Rite."&nbsp\;series.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p><strong>One Boo
 k - One Community</strong><br />Nine central Ohio library systems have par
 tnered to encourage all central Ohio families\, friends and co-workers to 
 read&nbsp\;<em>STAMPED: Racism\, Antiracism\, and You</em>&nbsp\;by Jason 
 Reynolds and Ibram X. Kendi. This program is designed to cultivate convers
 ations around race and social justice based upon the shared reading experi
 ence of the greater Columbus community.</p>\n<p>Through the reading of a s
 ingular book\, the community can reflect together upon the institutional a
 nd systemic inequalities that have impacted our community and nation for f
