\nDon Boileau is a retired professor of communication at George Mason Uni versity. He earned his M.A. and Ph.D. at the University of Oregon. He serv ed as a Peace Corps volunteer in Korea in 1968-69. A former department cha ir of Communication for 13 years\, he also serves as Parliamentarian for s uch groups as the U.S. Association for the United Nations\, the Associatio n of Teacher Educators\, and the international Kappa Delta Pi.
