 ienced poets rethink the basics of writing poetry\, making the act more wo
 rkable for those struggling with a certain piece or with creating poetry i
 n general. The workshop is aimed at helping poets to stop overthinking the
 ir processes and doubting the substance and worth of their work. The goal 
 is for each participant to emerge from the experience with tools they can 
 use to improve their overall confidence when writing poetry.</p>\n<p>A mee
 ting link will be emailed to registered participants approximately one hou
 r prior to the start of the program. Staff will be available for help with
  connecting to Zoom and technical issues beginning 15 minutes prior to the

 p\;</p>\n<p><strong>Michelle R. Smith</strong> is a poet\, blogger\, educa
 tor\, and cultural facilitator in Twinsburg\, OH. She is currently the pro
 gramming associate at Literary Cleveland\, a writer-in-residence at the Cl
 eveland School of the Arts\, a teacher-writer for Lake Erie Ink\, and an a
 djunct composition instructor at Kent State University at Stark and Cuyaho
 ga Community College Western Campus. She is the author of the poetry colle
 ctions&nbsp\;<em>Ariel in Black</em>&nbsp\;(2015) and&nbsp\;<em>The Vagina
  Analogues</em>&nbsp\;(2020).&nbsp\;Michelle has been published in <em>poe
