X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<p>Using the GLOBE Observer app\, we'll learn
how to study and contribute to the global collection of data around tree
survival\, growth and coverage. Using the Trees protocol of the app\, we'l
l measure tree height\, an important indicator of an ecosystem's ability t
o support tree growth. This data will feed into the GLOBE Program data poo
l\, where it will support NASA research on environmental health.&nbsp\;</p
 >\n<p>During this virtual workshop\, we'll look the why and how and then t
est out the app itself. To download the app on your mobile device ahead of
time\, visit your app store and search for "GLOBE Observer".&nbsp\;&nbsp\
