 trong></p>\n<p>Ripple of Kindness co-founders Barbara White and Mary-Anne 
 Frith will talk about how things started almost 5 years ago and what inspi
 red them to start this kindness journey together. They will talk about how
  it works and how anyone can get involved and outline all past recipients 
 to date showing funds received and focus on some of the projects that have
  been done that impact our community. They will talk about the way this gr
 oup has resonated with so many local women with little time commitment and
  huge impact and how Ripple of Kindness has spread to other communities wi
 th chapters in Orillia\, Muskoka and London.</p>\n<p>We want to improve\,

 ref="http://www.rippleofkindness.ca/">Ripple of Kindness</a>?</strong> - R
 OK is a growing group of inclusive women in the community that pledge to d
 onate 400.00 per year split between 4 charities.&nbsp\; These charities ar
 e nominated and voted on by the membership with a collective donation for 
 the greater good of the organization and community.</p>\n<p><img src="http

 " /><strong>Barbara White</strong></p>\n<p>Community minded and always try
 ing to lead with kindness\, Barbara helped to co-found Ripple of Kindness 
 in 2016 so that more like minded women could come together with greater im
 pact.&nbsp\; Since then\, Ripple of Kindness has donated back into the com
 munity over $370\,000.&nbsp\; They have now three chapters in Orillia\, Mu
 skoka and London who are rippling kindness in their communities.</p>\n<p>W
 orking alongside her husband since 1988 in their group of companies\,&nbsp
 \; Barbara chose to focus on community when they moved to Barrie in 1992.&
 nbsp\; Their company\, Jeff White Group donates 12 month property maintena
 nce to Gilda&rsquo\;s Club\, Hospice Simcoe and the O.S.P.C.A.&nbsp\; Jeff
 &rsquo\;s Junk is also working closely with Redwood Homes/Furniture Bank e
 nsuring everyone has gently used furniture in their homes.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>
 Barbara founded and ran Prom Night for Cancer\, a third party fundraiser f
 or the Canadian Cancer Society&rsquo\;s Relay for Life in 2008 and over th
 e 10 year period raised over $ 150\,000.00.&nbsp\; Other Community Outreac
 h and Sponsorships that Barbara is involved with include the Barrie Food B
 ank\, Hospice Simcoe\, Canadian Mental Health Organization and Redwood Par
 k Communties to name a few.</p>\n<p>Barbara is serving her second term on 
 the Board of Gilda&rsquo\;s Club Simcoe Muskoka and just finished as Chair
  for the past two years.&nbsp\; She also has just joined the board of the 
 Barrie Community Foundation.&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Rotary International has recogn
 ized Barbara&rsquo\;s dedication to volunteerism by awarding her with the 
 &ldquo\;Paul Harris Fellowship Award&rdquo\; from two different clubs in B
 arrie.&nbsp\; She recently was awarded the Ontario 150 by Anne Hogarth for
  her contribution in Simcoe County and received the first "Heart and Soul"
  award of Barrie from the Barrie Chamber of Commerce.&nbsp\; Ripple of Kin
 dness was the recipient of the 2019 Barrie Business Awards for Not-For-Pro
 fit or Charitable Organization.</p>\n<p>Barbara loves spending time with h
 ere children\, walking the dogs and playing golf with her friends.<br />&l

 height="469" /><strong>Mary-Anne Frith</strong></p>\n<p>Mary-Anne has been
  an occupational health and safety consultant for over 20 years and sees t
 he need to help people in her daily work and personal life. Together with 
 her husband Brent\, they live in the Barrie area and make community giving
  a large part of their journey with their 3 daughters and 2 grandsons.</p>
 \n<p>Being involved in the Barrie community for many years\, Mary-Anne has
  participated in numerous fundraising events with some of those contributi
 ons being a member of the Lakeside Committee for Gilda&rsquo\;s Club Simco
 e Muskoka\, personal fundraising event for Hospice Simcoe\, and numerous c
 ommunity family support initiatives.</p>\n<p>She is the proud Co-founder o
 f Ripple of Kindness which is a local ladies giving group who collectively
  pledge to donate funds to local community charities. Since it&rsquo\;s<br
  />inception in September 2016\, the members have raised over $370\,000 fo
 r Barrie charitable organizations.</p>\n<p>Mary-Anne has most recently acc
 epted the co-chair position on the Moments Matter Campaign Cabinet at the 
 Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre. She will work to provide direction\
 , vision and enthusiasm to lead a successful campaign to raise 100 million
  dollars for this unprecedented 10-year community campaign.</p>\n<p>In Mar
 y-Anne&rsquo\;s spare time she enjoys being with her family and friends wi
