DESCRIPTION:Great Decisions is a program created by the Foreign Policy Ass
 ociation. It is America's largest discussion program on world affairs. The
  program model involves reading the Great Decisions Briefing Book (optiona
 l)\, and meeting in a Discussion Group to discuss the most critical global
  issues facing America today. Each meeting begins with a 30-minute film on
  a discussion topic and is followed by a facilitator-led discussion.\n\n.\

 nother election season\, the merits and drawbacks of globalization are aga
 in being debated by the presidential candidates. With the passing of the B
 rexit vote and Donald Trump&rsquo\;s America First doctrine\, protectionis
 t policies have become more prevalent\, challenging globalization. What is
  globalization and how will it be affected by protectionist trade policies
 ? How will the United States and the world be affected by such policies? I
 s globalization really at an end\, or in need of a refresh?</p>\n<p>Facili
 tator: William Miller\, PhD</p>\n<p>Dr. Miller is the Executive Director o
 f Institutional Analytics\, Effectiveness\, and Strategic Planning at Jack
 sonville University. Prior to JU\, Dr. Miller served as Assistant Vice Pre
 sident of Campus Strategy at Campus Labs\, a higher education technology a
 nd consulting firm.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Registration is required for this event
 \, and must be completed two hours prior to the start time. A library card
  and PIN is required for registration. If you do not have a card\, click<a
