 are dispersed. We'll plant bean seeds in a sandwich bag with a paper towel
  and dissect bean seeds. Please have about 6 larger beans on hand per chil
 d (kidney\, lima\, pinto) - either actual seeds or dry cooking beans - man
 y cooking beans will grow a plant\, especially if they are organic. Non-or
 ganic dry beans are irradiated and may or may not sprout. If you don't hav
 e any bean seeds or dry beans\, contact Librarian Cathy at cbakken@spokane
 library.org. We'll also dissect beans\, which will require you to soak thr
 ee of the beans for 12-24 hours ahead of time. A magnifying glass may also
  be helpful.</p>\n<p>Register to participate and you will receive an email
  with a link and instructions on how to participate before the event. Only
  one registration per family/computer is necessary.</p>\n<p>Technology req
 uirements: You will need a device or computer with an internet connection
