 telling workshop. &nbsp\;Since then they have coached and encouraged each 
 other in telling better stories. &nbsp\;They have traveled together and pe
 rformed together - even twice here in Alexandria. &nbsp\;This year\, we ge
 t to hear all four women again\, each giving us a full hour of stories ove
 r the next four weeks. &nbsp\;This is&nbsp\;Stories From Friends&nbsp\;- a
 s these women are friends with each other and are reaching out from their 
 homes to us\, their Alexandria friends.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>This event is par

 More about our storyteller:&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Solveig Eggerz is the author of
  two novels\, <em>Seal Woman</em>\, inspired by the selkie legend\, and <e
 m>Sigga of Reykjavik</em>\, based on the history of 20th century Iceland. 
 A native of Iceland\, she has lived in Alexandria since 1974\, where she t
 ells stories and teaches creative writing for <em>Heard</em>\, a non-profi
