 2004. Expect to see them in May and June of 2021. They rise out of the gro
 und in an enormous\, frightening mass. Yet\, these cicadas are not dangero
 us\; they do not sting\, bite or carry diseases. And\, they do not eat gar
 den vegetables! Their emergence from underground provides us with a rare o
 pportunity to observe them close-up. Look for them\, especially on and aro
 und trees. Our stable\, tree-filled environment makes their cohabitation w
