Learn how to tie a bowline knot\, make a s eed necklace\, and share nature photos for science! In this virtual nature workshop for all ages (suggested grade 6 and up)\, participants will lear n how to find and identify a wide variety of plants\, insects and animals using interactive species ID apps and field guides in their own community. Participants have the option to try more projects and contribute outdoor nature observations following the training by exploring backyards\, parks\ , or other areas near home and sharing observations&mdash\;such as bird co unts and plant photos&mdash\;to online databases for citizen science. Expl ore local data with online maps and research connections between climate c hange and biodiversity.
