 door plants</p>\n<p><strong>Bob Wildfong</strong> has been saving seeds an
 d teaching about food biodiversity for over 20 years. From apples to zucch
 ini\, he mixes science and storytelling to reveal the secret lives of seed
 s\, plants\, and pollinators. He lives in Waterloo\, Ontario\, but enjoys 
 visiting gardens and farms everywhere.</p>\n<p>As Executive Director of Se
 eds of Diversity Canada\, Bob helps connect seed savers from coast-to-coas
 t to rescue endangered Canadian seeds and food plants\, and to help develo
 p markets for biodiverse food. Through Seeds of Diversity's Pollination Ca
 nada program\, and as a steering member of the North American Pollinator P
 rotection Campaign\, he is helping to build a movement to preserve the nat
 ive bees and pollinating insects that sustain our food and natural ecosyst
 ems.</p>\n<p>As the President of the Culinary Historians of Canada\, Bob d
 elights in telling stories that show how our food system has changed conti
 nuously throughout time\, and that we can learn a lot about future food su
 stainability by remembering past lessons.</p>\n<p>Bob Wildfong is the Hort
 icultural Specialist at the Waterloo Region Museum. For the past twenty ye
 ars Bob has cared for the gardens in Doon Heritage Village. These gardens 
 feature over 200 species of heritage plants.<strong></strong></p>\n<p><img
