 oor plants</p>\n<p><strong>Bob Wildfong</strong> has been saving seeds and
  teaching about food biodiversity for over 20 years. From apples to zucchi
 ni\, he mixes science and storytelling to reveal the secret lives of seeds
 \, plants\, and pollinators. He lives in Waterloo\, Ontario\, but enjoys v
 isiting gardens and farms everywhere.</p>\n<p>As Executive Director of See
 ds of Diversity Canada\, Bob helps connect seed savers from coast-to-coast
  to rescue endangered Canadian seeds and food plants\, and to help develop
  markets for biodiverse food. Through Seeds of Diversity's Pollination Can
 ada program\, and as a steering member of the North American Pollinator Pr
 otection Campaign\, he is helping to build a movement to preserve the nati
 ve bees and pollinating insects that sustain our food and natural ecosyste
 ms.</p>\n<p>As the President of the Culinary Historians of Canada\, Bob de
 lights in telling stories that show how our food system has changed contin
 uously throughout time\, and that we can learn a lot about future food sus
 tainability by remembering past lessons.</p>\n<p>Bob Wildfong is the Horti
 cultural Specialist at the Waterloo Region Museum. For the past twenty yea
 rs Bob has cared for the gardens in Doon Heritage Village. These gardens f
 eature over 200 species of heritage plants.</p>\n<p><img src="https://barr
