Barbara Shoup will share thoughts abou t her own work as a novelist and discuss the remarkable range of fiction b eing published by today&rsquo\;s Hoosier writers&mdash\;some living and wr iting in our state and others who left home but keep writing about Indiana anyway. Shoup is the author of eight novels\, including An American Tune and Looking for Jack Kerouac\, as well as Novel Ideas: Contemporary Authors Share the Creative Process and A Commotion in Your Heart: Notes on Writing and Life. She is the Writer-in-Residence at the Indiana Writer Ce nter\, a faculty member at Art Workshop International\, and the moderator for &ldquo\;Imaginary Indiana\,&rdquo\; a series of ZOOM conversations wit h Indiana fiction writers\, sponsored by the IWC and Indiana Humanities.
