 e to identify with one of the following barriers to participate in the KEY

 stering\, you will receive a confirmation email containing information abo
 ut joining the meeting.</p>\n<p>KEYS is a federally-funded program under t
 he Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and Department of Famil
 y Services (DFS). Prospective participants are subject to program eligibil
 ity requirements as well. Each participant is exposed to educational servi
 ces and training that will increase their skill sets for today&rsquo\;s co
 mpetitive labor market.&nbsp\;In addition\, our youth will participate in 
 a paid internship or training program and receive 12 months of follow-up s
 ervices and assistance for placement in permanent jobs\, training programs
 \, and educational opportunities.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;Our focus industries for In
 ternship/Training Certifications include:</p>\n<p>Healthcare<br />Informat
 ion Technology<br />Retail<br />Administrative Services<br />Warehouse<br 
 />Maintenance<br />Food/Beverage<br />HOW DOES KEYS CAREERS WORK?</p>\n<p>
 KEYS Careers operates in four (4) phases.</p>\n<p>Phase 1: Pre-Enrollment 
 &amp\; Observation<br />Eligibility and program readiness interview and as
 sessments.</p>\n<p>Phase 2: Employability Seminars &amp\; Remediation<br /
 >For eight (8) weeks\, participants attend intensive paid Employability Sk
 ills Seminars. Our curriculum is specifically designed to build the skills
  necessary to attain and maintain employment. Participants may also be req
 uired to attend academic remediation in either reading\, mathematics or bo
 th to improve their basic skills.</p>\n<p>Phase 3: Internship/Training<br 
 />After successfully completing Phase 2\, participants may be placed in ei
 ther a 10-week\, paid internship or a training program paid for by the KEY
 S program. Participants are supported by a job coach and KEYS team through
 out this phase. Training is currently provided in\, but not limited to: Re
 tail /Hospitality/Warehouse Services\, Administrative Services\, Informati
 on Technology\, Healthcare and Construction Services. &nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Phas
 e 4: Placement<br />Placement is determined by a participant&rsquo\;s educ
