 or identification and appreciation of the state&rsquo\;s trees\, shrubs\, 
 and woody vines&nbsp\;is the most comprehensive accounting of the woody pl
 ants of Arkansas ever published. The authors will share photographs\, maps
  and other key aspects of their book to support our understanding and admi
 ration of Arkansas's plants and the habitats that support them.&nbsp\;This
  program is for all who appreciate Arkansas flora in rural\, urban and wil
 derness areas.</p>\n<p>Jennifer Ogle is the Collections Manager of the Uni
 versity of Arkansas Herbarium. She holds a master&rsquo\;s degree in biolo
 gy from the University of Arkansas\, Fayetteville\, and has worked as a co
 ntract botanist and consultant for several government agencies\, private c
 ompanies\, and non-profit organizations in Arkansas.&nbsp\;In her spare ti
 me\, Jennifer serves on the boards and committees of organizations focused
  on urban land conservation and the protection of native plants and plant 
 communities.</p>\n<p>Theo Witsell is the Ecologist and Chief of Research f
 or the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission and the Curator of the ANHC He
 rbarium. He has also worked as a contract botanist and ecologist for a num
 ber of government agencies and NGOs. He is co-founder of and Chief Ecologi
 st for the Southeastern Grasslands Initiative\, headquartered at the Cente
 r of Excellence for Field Biology (Austin Peay State University\, Clarksvi
 lle\, TN) and serves as a regional reviewer for the Flora of North America
  Project.</p>\n<p>This program is free but registration is required.<br />
