ian\, author\, and editor\, M. Teresa Baer publishes the award-winning jou
rnal\, The Hoosier Genealogist: Connections and its counterpart\, Online C

ge of books for schools and books on immigration and ethnic history among
others at the IHS Press. Baer authored the booklet Indianapolis: A City of
Immigrants (IHS Press\, 2012)\, which\, through generous donations\, has
been distributed to schools\, cultural organizations\, and other groups th
roughout central Indiana. She also compiled and edited (with Geneil Breeze
) the award-winning book Finding Indiana Ancestors: A Guide to Historical
Research (IHS Press\, 2007)\; and has published numerous book chapters and
magazine articles on both historical and genealogical topics. Her latest\
, &ldquo\;History at the Crossroads: What the Combined Study of Genealogy\
, History\, Education\, and Communication Can Teach Us\,&rdquo\; was publi
shed in the fall 2020 issue of the Journal of Liberal Arts and Sciences. B
aer has a bachelor&rsquo\;s degree focusing on global history\, a certific
ate in international studies\, and a master&rsquo\;s degree in comparative
history from Indiana University at Indianapolis.
