 an diet actually look&nbsp\;like? And is reducing or eliminating meat from
  your diet&nbsp\;prohibitively&nbsp\;expensive or time consuming?</p>\n<p>
 In "Eating Plants: The Practice and Philosophy of Veganism"\, Bexley resid
 ents and PhDs Andrew Mills and Jessica Garrett Mills explore the Who\, Wha
 t\, Why and How of Veganism (and other diets with reduced amounts of meat)
 . They'll discuss some of the philosophical questions and arguments surrou
 nding the ethics of&nbsp\;eating meat\, as well as their experiences in na
 vigating their own diet decisions and raising a family on vegan food sourc
 es.</p>\n<p>__</p>\n<p>Andrew Mills is a Professor of Philosophy and Chair
  of the Department of Philosophy and Religion at Otterbein University\, wh
 ere he has taught since 1999. Educated at the University of Michigan and t
 he University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill\, Dr. Mills teaches courses
  in the history of philosophy\, on the philosophy of death\, as well a pop
 ular course on our philosophical obligations to the non-human world. He ha
 s published work in the philosophy of language\, on the pedagogy of philos
 ophy\, and on philosophical themes in Downton Abbey and Harry Potter. His 
 essay\, "What's So Good About a College Education" has been used at colleg
 es and universities across the country to introduce students to the value 
 of a liberal arts education.</p>\n<p>Jessica Garrett Mills\, Ph.D.\, the o
 wner of OnTrack Academic Coaching\, works with students from middle school
  to graduate school helping them navigate executive functioning challenges
 . She is a native of Bexley who has been vegan since the 90s. She is a veg
 an activist\, a mentor with Vegan Outreach\, a vegan cooking class instruc
 tor\, and\, together with Andrew\, is raising two young children on a vega
 n diet and a lifestyle of care and concern for animals and the environment
 . Jessica's approach to introducing others to a plant-based diet is to lis
 ten deeply\, to meet people where they are\, and to lead with delicious fo
