Welcome the the Boxed Book Society!
\n< p>Join Ms. Emily as she introduces July's theme: book-to-screen. This mont h's book is "The Sun is Also a Star" by Nicola Yoon. Our hybrid meeting (o ptions for in-person and virtual) for the Boxed Book Society is Monday\, J uly 26th at 4pm.\nThe Boxed Book Society is a monthly program that allows teens to participate in a reading program without the pressures of a traditional book club. Every month\, teens in grades 7&ndash\;12 can sig n up to receive a book box - including a copy of that month's book\, as we ll as other treats. Each month\, there will be a short video to introduce that month's theme and book choice\, as well as proffer other recommendati ons to read within that month's genre. \;
\nWhile teens are stro ngly encouraged to read that month's book\, we know that homework and afte r school activities can be overwhelming. Even if you didn't get around to reading that month's book\, come to the meeting anyway! We will talk about our favorite books\, what we read that month\, and maybe even books we re ad years ago!
\nEach month requires individual sign-ups\, which allo ws you to choose which themes you'd like to participate in. Each month's s ign up opens on the first of the month at 9am.
