 land\, Ohio but has roots planted deep in the South. Vegan Vicki spent man
 y hours in the kitchen watching and learning traditional cooking methods f
 rom her family. After a diagnosis of non-smoker lung cancer back in 2008\,
  she began to research various causes of cancer. From her research\, Vicki
  knew she needed to change her lifestyle\, first becoming a vegetarian\, t
 hen switching to veganism.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>She is a self-taught vegan chef 
 for over 12 years\, who has a strong commitment to changing the way you th
 ink vegans eat. She has focused her talents on developing and perfecting v
 egan recipes to not only please the palate but to feed the soul. She owns 
 Urban Sweetness\, a 100% vegan culinary services business\, offering pop-u
 ps\, weekly meal services\, and vegan/plant-based transition coaching. She
  is the first vegan chef to be featured in the Launch Test Kitchen with Ar
 amark and the Cleveland Cavaliers inside the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse an
 d to have an exclusively vegan menu within the Executive Suites. She is al
 so a featured guest chef on Cleveland&rsquo\;s number-one-rated news stati
