DESCRIPTION:In this 2-hour workshop\, mask and puppet designer Clelia Scal
 a discusses the process of designing and building a fantastical mask.\nhtt

 ping and building a mask of cardboard\, how to decorate the mask\, and how
  to finish it with papier-m&acirc\;ch&eacute\;. Participants should come p
 repared with a loose idea of the mask that they would like to make and any
  additional decorative pieces they would like to add to their mask.</p>\n<
 p>For all ages (though participants under 12 will require adult supervisio
 n)\, limited spaces.</p>\n<p>Registered participants will need to travel t
 o the library branch of their choosing before the workshop date to pick up
  a kit that includes a foam head\, cardboard\, paints\, glue\, paper\, and
  elastics. Participants will also need to provide their own paintbrushes\,
  hot glue\, glue gun\, and scissors.</p>\n<p>Clelia Scala&rsquo\;s work in
 cludes mask and puppet design\, installations\, collage\, and illustration
 . Her explorations into the fantastic and&nbsp\; uncanny stem from a lifel
 ong engagement with tales and myths and her interest in the theme of human
  interaction with the natural world.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>This interactive onlin
