Justin Abdou is a wrestler f rom Moose Jaw who competed at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and won a gold meda l at the 1994 Commonwealth Games. A nine-time Canadian champion\, Justin a lso won the Cadet world championship in 1987. \; \;

Lyndon Rush competed in two winter Ol ympics and won a bronze medal piloting the four-man team in Vancouver 2021 . He also won a two-man World Cup title in 2012-2013. Lyndon was also a fo otball player at the University of Saskatchewan.

Shannon Miller hails from Melfort and coached the Canadian women 's hockey team in their Olympic debut in 1988\, winning a silver medal. Sh e also coached them to a 1997 IIHF world championship. Shannon founded the high-performance training program at the Olympic Oval in Calgary and spen t 18 years at the University of Minnesota-Duluth\, winning five NCAA title s.
