He is an advocate for educating youth on indigenous history and c ontemporary issues and often writes about sensitive subjects like teen sui cide and missing and murdered aboriginal girls and women. David has publis hed over 25 books across a variety of genres. His first novel\, The Evolut ion of Alice\, was published in 2014. His latest novel is The Barren Groun ds\, the first in a new middle-grade fantasy series.
