  techniques\, followed by guided time for participants to create a tangibl
 e zine that explores lived experiences\, truths\, and stories of being que
 er\, however that may look for them. Participants are welcome to submit th
 eir zine to the Fine Zines archive\, which will be available in both a phy
 sical space and as a digital archive\, free and open to all.</p>\n<p>Found
 ed by Alyssa Pisciotto\, Fine Zines: A Queer Zine Archive is a zine archiv
 e that focuses on queer experiences and voices. Queer narratives are often
  erased or overlooked throughout history\, so preserving these stories and
  truths preserved in the ways the authors and creators intend is very impo
 rtant. Through the format of the zine\, channels of accessibility are open
 ed up\, as zines are traditionally low-budget\, self-published\, and made 
 with anything the maker wants to use. Submissions to Fine Zines: A Queer Z
 ine Archive are open to any member of the LGBTQ+ community. For more infor

 Alyssa Pisciotto is a queer artist from LaSalle\, Ontario and now resides 
 in Toronto. She graduated from OCAD University in 2016 with a Bachelor of 
 Fine Arts\, majoring in Drawing and Painting and minoring in Printmaking. 
 Painting and printmaking are her primary practice. Her current work revolv
 es around themes of colour\, line and shape\, and how they interact with o
 ne another. Alyssa has shown in galleries across Canada and the United Sta
 tes\, and has been a part of a year-long special exhibition at TheMuseum i
 n Kitchener\, Ontario. Alyssa is currently working with The Art Gallery of
  Windsor to create and deliver arts programing with their Art With Heart w

 vent is part of <strong>Missing Pages</strong>\, a community-centric onlin
 e project that makes space for voices that are underrepresented in our kno
 wledge institutions. Public catalogues of stories&mdash\;whether an archiv
 e\, a university\, or a library&mdash\;are intended to tell us who we are.
  However\, they undoubtedly omit and exclude experiences and knowledge. Th
 is series of public programs and online artworks focuses on personal and c
 ollective narratives that shape our communities\, both locally and interna
 tionally\, that are missing from collected records.</p>\n<p>This program i
