  us in celebration of the launch of Love &amp\; Weather\, an album of unus
 ual rock music by Glasgow-based artist Josh Thorpe and his Unusual Music E
 xchange project. Songs that are simple in form but complex in texture. The
 y describe a world gone splendidly off the rails. This marks the first rel
 ease of Unusual Music Exchange\, an online library of interesting music.</
 p>\n<p>The evening&rsquo\;s performance features live performances by Jeff
 rey David Morton\, Forced Femme &amp\; Thinktank.</p>\n<p>This vinyl is pr
 oduced in partnership with Dunlop Art Gallery and YYZ Artists Outlet (Toro
 nto)\, as part of an unusual series of events around sound\, music\, and l
 istening in September 2021.</p>\n<p><strong>Josh Thorpe </strong>is an art
 ist\, musician\, and writer based in Glasgow\, Scotland. Thorpe has releas
 ed two albums of songs (<em>Love &amp\; Weather</em>\, 2021\; <em>Scrappy 
 Art Rock You Can Dance To</em>\, 2018) and one album of experimental music
  (<em>Flocklight</em>\, 2005). Thorpe recently launched Unusual Music Exch
 ange\, an online forum for unusual music.</p>\n<p><strong>Jeffrey David Mo
 rton</strong> is a Canadian composer\, performer\, and media artist. His w
 orks are playful\, experimental explorations of sound\, sound-making\, and
  compositional processes using found and musical objects and materials. Hi
 s work includes traditional and graphic notation for instrumental chamber 
 music\, DIY audio building and bending\, and electroacoustic performance.<
 /p>\n<p><strong>Forced Femme</strong> is <strong>Jaye Kovach</strong> (she
 /her\; they/them) and <strong>Paula Bogdan</strong> (she/her). As Regina's
  hottest new dyke band\, they are the perfect soundtrack for a frequently 
 broken heart\; undiluted queer rage with just a dash of romanticism featur
 ing raw lyrics drenched in that classic\, punk sound you know and love.</p
 >\n<p><strong>Thinktank</strong> is a creative collective based out Regina
 \, Saskatchewan consisting directly of <strong>Theg0ldmolar</strong> (they
 /them)\, <strong>Allinesik</strong> (he/him) and <strong>Suke</strong> (he
 /him). Their interests span across multiple artistic mediums and hover bet
 ween both introspective and political realms\, while maintaining an air of
  light-heartedness. Their sound borrows from genres including hip-hop and 
 dance music. The unconventional nature of Thinktank derives from the fluid
  dynamics that the group operates within. After 3 years as a collective\, 
 Thinktank will be performing their debut show at the Unusual Music Exchang
