  our community and for those who are willing to open their hearts and home
 s for children in need.&nbsp\; For some people\, hearing the words "Foster
  Parent" can be somewhat frightening.&nbsp\;&nbsp\; Join us as we discuss 
 how SAFY (Specialized Alternatives for Families and Youth) helps to take t
 he fear out of being a foster parent.&nbsp\; SAFY is a non-profit therapeu
 tic foster care agency.&nbsp\; SAFY provides that extra layer of support t
 o foster parents to help them learn how to love and nurture the children i
 n their home.&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>Learn the overview of youth needs in our comm
 unity\, learn what it takes to be a successful Foster Parent\, review the 
 process of becoming a foster parent\, learn about how you can support yout
 h experiencing foster care\, and learn how you can give back if fostering 
 isn&rsquo\;t right for you.</p>\n<p>This program will be presented in pers
 on at the Ellet Branch Library\, but you will also have the option to stre
 am through Zoom.&nbsp\; This program requires registration. You can regist
 er in person at the Ellet Branch Library\, by calling 330.784.2019\, or th
 rough our website.&nbsp\; Due to changing guidelines from the CDC regardin
 g COVID-19\, we believe this is the best way to keep you informed about th
 e status of our programs.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;</p>\n<p>You will receive an e-mail
  with the participation weblink one day before the program. Please contact
  the Library if you are unable to attend.</p>\n<p>If you do not have an e-
