Largely Literary Theater Company co-founders Sara Showman and Mark Daw idziak draw on the Dickens Christmas stories\, his thoughts about the seas on and some Dickensian Christmas history for this one-act show that reflec t the writer's belief that\, "There seems a magic in the very name of Chri stmas."

The Largely Liter
ary Theater Company\, LLC\, was founded in 2002 by Mark Dawidziak and
Sara Showman. Their mission is to promote literature\, literacy and live t
heater. For the past twenty years\, they have toured all over Ohio and per
formed in Michigan\, Virginia\, Connecticut and New York state. They have
produced faithful adaptations of works by Edgar Allan Poe\, Mark Twain\, R
obert Louis Stevenson. Dashiell Hammett\, Walt Whitman\, Rod Serling\, Amb
rose Bierce and Charles Dickens. Showman is also a storyteller\, who perfo
rms for both children and adults. Her shows include folktales\, historical
tale\, original stories and seasonal offerings. They have participated in
three National Endowment For The Arts Big Reads and twice in the annual c
elebration of all things Twilight Zone in Binghamton\, New York. They have
also performed at the Center For Mark Twain Studies in Elmira\, New York.
