X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<p>Like so many families and children around
 the world\, Canadians are facing the 2021-22 school year with a mix of rel
 ief and anxiety\, hoping for a return to routines\, extracurriculars and r
 elationships at school. But after 18 months of profound disruption &ndash\
 ; will &ldquo\;normal&rdquo\; be good enough? Are we on track to set all c
 hildren up for success in a world that often seems more uncertain &ndash\;
  and unequal &ndash\; than ever before? This presentation will begin by ex
 amining how Canadian schools have fared during COVID-19 compared to those
 in other jurisdictions. I then turn to evidence-based ways that educators
 can ensure a better\, stronger\, and more equitable start in 2021-22.</p>\
