 ories of Native service as well as a diverse\, striking array of images. I
 ncluded are sketches\, photographs\, contemporary art\, and objects from t
 he National Museum of the American Indian's collections. The authors will 
 discuss their book while responding to questions related to this wide-rang
 ing topic.</p>\n<p>Alexandra N. Harris is a senior editor and writer at th
 e Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian. She holds an M.A. 
 in American Indian studies from UCLA.&nbsp\; Mark Hirsch is a historian at
  the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian. He holds a PhD 
 in American history from Harvard University. This book was published in 20
 20 in conjunction with the dedication of the National Native American Vete
