 lar both to write and to read. Shorts are usually less than 1\,000 words\,
  at the most 1\,500 words\, and include hybrid genres such as Flash Fictio
 n\, Prose Poetry\, Flash Memoir\, and the Hybrid Short. Each of our sessio
 ns will begin with a prompt which explores technique. Participants are enc
 ouraged to send in a &ldquo\;short&rdquo\; they have written to each sessi
 on for workshopping. Guidance will be given to assure that all participant
 s learn to critique each other&rsquo\;s work respectfully and in a way tha
 t will be helpful to the writer. Kim Malinowski has an M.F.A. from America
 n University. She has numerous magazine publications\, a chapbook&nbsp\;De
